How To Upgrade Your Computer To Windows 8

Now Windows 8 is already for full installation, You can now upgrade your computer to windows 8 with a very easy process to installation.

Don't worry all your softwares installed on your computer will work perfectly with windows 8, you don't even need to install an antivirus because windows 8 pro comes with windows Defender in-built with the operating system(windows 8)

Talking about windows 8 in-built, this advanced operating system windows 8 comes with a Windows Store offers a plethora of new full-screen “apps” to choose from. Now if you have not used or play with windows 8 beta version which was released earlier it might take time for you to get comfortable with windows 8 maybe a day or 2 days.

Step By Step Upgrading To Windows 8

So if you are ready to upgrade to windows 8; let me show you how to upgrade your computer to windows 8 successfully, you will need 3 things, which are;
  1. you will need a computer running on windows, whatever windows eg windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 etc any windows as far as it running on a windows Operating System.
  2. You will also need a paypal account or a valid credit card to pay for the upgrading fee, which will cost you $40 as at now for windows 8 Professional Edition.
  3. A good internet connection to be able to download windows 8 from windows server which is 2.05GB.
This upgrade will overwrite the windows on the computer to windows 8 and and remember you can not uninstall it after the upgrade and switch to back to your previous windows.

Your computer files will be preserved after the upgrade,If your current PC is running Windows XP or Vista, all your files and data will be preserved but you will have to reinstall the software apps after upgrading to Windows 8.

To Upgrade your computer to windows 8, you will need to download and install Upgrade Assistant program, this program will analysis on your computer and tell if your computer softwares that may not to compatible to  windows 8.

Next you will need to order for windows 8 pack inside the Upgrade Assistant  click on "checkout" you will need to enter your credit card or paypal option in the next page and next you will get your windows 8 product key which you will need during the installation but you don't need to copy it down because a receipt will be sent to your email about your purchase.
Now the Upgrade assistant will start downloading windows 8 to your hard disk, and the downloading may take time due to the size of the file and your internet connection.
After it finish downloading choose the install option you will like to use.

Tip: The Windows 8 installer files are stored in the C:\ESD\Windows\Sources folder – it’s hidden so you may not find it inside Windows Explorer.
