Hello everyone, If you are one of those using a Huawei E303 modem and you have been looking for a way to unlock your modem to use others Sims of different network? then this might work for you, I came across this method and I will love to share it with you
How To Unlock Huawei E303 With Firmware Update 21.157.31.00.850
Note: please follow very single step and it will help you unlock your modem permanently.
- Download Universal Master Code Calculator so that we get the FLASH CODE below software download click here.
- Insert your Imei code into "Universal Master Code Calculator" the software that you have above.
- and you will get FLASH CODES that we are going to use them as a PASSWORD in the next step.
- Download HUAWEI E303 firmware update from here
- Unzip the file and make sure the modem is connected and it has been installed with the SIM card inside it.
Quit the software dashboard, then the run the UPDATE you have download and you will asked for the PASSWORD input the FLASH CODE you got from the Universal Master Code Calculator and then your huawei E303 will be unlocked forever.

Thanks so much for your effort, the new modem e303 comes with an inbuilt firmware and the only way to work it out is to flash it. your procedure is superb, only one BIG thing missing. You see, when you update the firmware to version you have above or any other that may come out soon (giving a chance to flash it) you technically need a CONNECTION to an internet to be able to 'DOWNLOAD' updates :-). thats what i realized, and at the same time you are running the wizard the modem dashboard has to be OFF. in order to run the update, meaning technically you have no connection if in the first place you are using the modem to connect like i do. so maybe it could work if one connects to a another source, maybe a fibre cable? in order to complete the firmware update. so now im thinking to go somewhere in a cyber maybe and talk to a guy to connect my pc as i flash my modem...or is there a way it can be done?, nope, this comes at the last step, after entering the password/flash code...so if you have no connection to download the update, the software will say error...meaning nothing has been done yet
ReplyDeleteIt did not work. The firmware was changed. But immediately I put in a different sim it still asked for unlock code.
ReplyDelete@mob..did it really ask for 'unlcok code'? well you could have given it...my Huawei e303 modem says 'only specified sim/usim allowed on the device' so there is not even an option to enter the unlock code. Anyway...yesterday i went out to try flashing the modem on an already internet connected PC to enable download the updates on the firmware update step 3 of 4. It could not work...it sayed. 'ERROR CODE# 19' so update not succesful, i do have a strong feeling the update this guy gave could work but theres something little missing, maybe (he) could be of help and work out the error code#19. cheers
